Drilling (conductor casing)

Conductor casing is the first and largest diameter pipe installed during construction and usually extends between 25 and 45 meters below surface to provide the initial stable structural foundations for a borehole or oil well.

Conductor pipe diameter is from 18 inches and may go up to 42 inches in different type of welding process: ERW (Electric Resistance Weld), SAW (Submerged Arc Weld), DSAW (Double Submerged Arc Weld).

Conductor Casing is designed to provide protection to offshore drilling and production equipment.

At Group B&T we partner with our customers to understand their drilling needs and support them throughout their programs, thanks to our longstanding relationships with leading manufacturers across Europe, America, Japan and China.
